In Athens, the two Greek partners of the consortium, the Hellenic Folklore Research Centre (HFRC) of the Academy of Athens (AA) and the Department/School of Physical Education and Sport Science (D/SPESS) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), are making intensive preparations for the inauguration of the exhibition titled «DANCE: Europe’s living heritage in motion | ΧΟΡΟΣ: Η ζωντανήκληρονομιά της Ευρώπης σε κίνηση» organized within the framework of the Dance ICH Project.

The exhibition opening will take place on May 9, 2025 (17:00–19:00), at the Hall of Greek Traditional Dance, located at the premises of D/SPESS NKUA (54 Ethnikis Antistaseos Street, 17237 Dafni, Attica), which will also host the exhibition. A participatory dance event will accompany the inauguration, co-organized with members of several heritage dance communities involved in the Greek case study, underscoring the living and dynamic nature of dance as intangible cultural heritage.
