On Friday, 9 May 2025, the opening of the bilingual permanent exhibition “DANCE: Europe’s living heritage in motion | ΧΟΡΟΣ: Η ζωντανή κληρονομιά της Ευρώπης σε κίνηση”, co-organised by the Hellenic Folklore Research Centre (HFRC) of the Academy of Athens and the Department/School of Physical Education and Sport Science (D/SPESS) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, took place with great success!

The exhibition is hosted at the Hall of Greek Traditional Dance of D/SPESS NKUA, where also the 'events of practice exhibition' take place.

These 'events of practice exhibition' are co-created with members of dance heritage communities from Thrace, Kythnos, Attica, and other regions of Greece, showcasing the living and dynamic nature of dance as intangible cultural heritage.
